Consumer Product Design Industry

Browse our innovative new consumer product designs

As a consumer product design firm, we know the consumer product industry requires innovation to stay ahead of trends. That’s why we are ahead of the game when it comes to developing technologies to meet the needs of the customer.

Through innovating existing products to meet specialized needs, or creating entirely new consumer products, we help you better serve your ideal customer. We’ve seen great success in the lawn and home care industries, with new consumer products developed to make difficult tasks easier and more efficient. Once we identify a customer need through user and market research, our industrial designers, industry-focused engineers and expert prototypers bring a product to market.

From ideation to completion

We use Vertical Innovation™ to move products from ideation to completion. Check out some of the new consumer products we brought to market below!

Together, Nottingham Spirk and Dirt Devil created the first true hand-held vacuum, first all-plastic upright, and many other innovations.
Through consumer research, the Scotts™ Snap was developed, a unique solution that allows quick prep and dispersion of lawn care products.
Launching a start-up company around the product, we sold 10 million SpinBrushes in the first year, tripling the electric toothbrush market.
By combining the best parts from Dirt Devil and Swiffer, we were able to create the Swiffer Sweeper Vac.
Combining a lawn mower, snow blower, leaf blower, and power washer was not an easy task; The Troy-Bilt Flex has the ability to change its function use with ease.
Nottingham Spirk re-engineered the ULTIMA™, intended to be the “easiest tree you will ever set up and take down.”
The Cub Cadet Hauler is a versatile two-wheeled yard cart that alleviates storage and ergonomic concerns.
The development of the Schick Hydro was an open innovation project designed to disrupt the manual razor category.
For a solution to wanting a tap-cold beer without having to leave the home, we had to come up with a home tap device.
