In response we created the world's only handheld saline nasal irrigation device with gentle powered suction that relieves allergies, congestion, snoring, and more. With over one million satisfied customers, it's a growing success story.

Naväge approached Nottingham Spirk to create a second-generation version of their battery-operated nasal irrigator, designed for users suffering from sinus infections, allergies, and similar ailments.

The original device, while effective, presented significant challenges:

• It required assembly for each use.

• It leaked frequently.

• It lacked proper flow control.

• Its packaging was bulky and costly to produce.

One unexpected breakthrough delighted Naväge executives.

The original model required users to detach, rotate, and reattach the nasal dock to alternate nostrils (as the saline flows into one nostril and out the other). This process was considered an unfixable inconvenience. However, we developed a rotating dock base that turns effortlessly and clicks securely into position, eliminating the need for reassembly. Additional improvements included:

• Valves for precise flow control.
• Enhanced aesthetics and ergonomics of the device.
• A newly engineered pump, replacing the third-party component used in the original.
