Huffy is a giant in the bike industry. It seems impossible to think about bikes without their brand coming to mind, and you certainly can't find a big box store that doesn't carry them in the bike section. When looking to the future, they wanted to explore a different kind of product. They came to Nottingham Spirk to develop an innovative product that would leverage Huffy’s strengths of strong brand familiarity, respect and heritage. It was up to us to help them disrupt the market. And disrupt the market we did.

To create something unique, our team stepped away from the traditional bicycle build. Instead, we went with three wheels. Instead of handlebars for small, adjusted steering, the team designed vertical handbrakes for sharp turns and thrills. A lowered seat brought the rider closer to ground and from our collaboration, the Huffy Green Machine was born.

The Huffy Green Machine has been part of the legendary Thrill Ride for generations. The spins and slides get the adrenaline going for great times. The three-wheeled Green Machine has many innovative features, including a sturdy metal frame, dual-stick steering for 180° turns, trigger hand brakes for fast stops, adjustable seat, and a safety flag.

This market disrupting product was accomplished within the client's desired price point of under $100.
