The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame unveils the first plaques for the Walk of Fame in Cleveland outside the Public Hall, where the sold-out Induction Ceremony will take place on April 14, 2012.
Nottingham Spirk worked closely with the Rock Hall to create the 'bronze-record' plaque design and production of the first round of 'records.' In coordination with Chemart Company, on manufacturing, they are now embedded in fresh concrete and soon to be permanent public monuments and a national landmark for Cleveland.
In the coming years, there are plans for 270 more plaques to be installed around the city to commemorate each Inductee. Maps will be generated to help fans follow the attraction around the city to find their favorite act's plaque.
Also available are miniature replicas sold in the Museum Store.
