"Spring was a rewarding season for Scotts Snap System, as its innovation and design elements were recognized at the 2012 AmeriStar, North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) and Lawn, Garden & Outdoor Living Innovation awards, respectively."

The Scotts' Snap Pac system was carefully engineered by Nottingham Spirk to eliminate the most common consumer pain points associated with spreading fertilizer, seeds, and weed killer. The solution combined a new intuitive spreader with a self-sealing new cartridge package. With the Snap Pac, consumers never touch or even smell the chemicals, or fiddle with spreader settings. The unique package easily locks into place and adjusts the material flow rate automatically.

"The spreader system was applauded for bearing standout graphics, encompassing colors, brand identity and clear communication of product intent, and was featured in the May issue of Hardware Retailing Magazine."
